The Myanmar Affairs Journal serves as an independent platform for diplomatic discourse, political analysis, and strategic insight regarding the Federal Republic of Myanmar.

Our mission is to foster a rigorous marketplace of ideas that articulates the aspirations of the Myanmar people. We aim to bridge the information gap between the ground realities of the revolution and the international diplomatic community, providing the nuance and depth required to navigate the crisis and plan for a federal democratic transition.

Editorial Principle

Our editorial stance is defined by Critical Solidarity. We categorically reject any suggestion that democracy and dictatorship merit equal treatment, but we maintain the independence required to analyze the democratic movement honestly.
